The One Where I Just Poured Things Out

Manchester City won 1-0 to Swansea City.
Juventus won 1-0 to Catania. Controversially.
Manchester United won 3-2 to Chelsea. Controversially.
Real Madrid crushed Mallorca 5-0.

Supposed it's a time for me to sing fun.'s We Are Young, but I don't know... I might have suffered from "football fatigue". Not a symptom of tiredness from playing too much football, but from watching too much football. *Shudders* I guess there's such thing as "too much football" after all.

Wait! Now I know.
I don't feel as excited as I'd like too is because the players themselves looked really fatigue on the pitch. Really, really seriously fatigue. It's "Okay, I have the ball now. What should I do? Maybe I'll just pass it to...uhhhh, anyone near enough. I wonder if I run every once in a while my Manager will notice it. Is the game over yet?" level of fatigue. Especially Manchester City and Juventus. Blame their lackluster Champions League performances. Let's not get there or I might have to punch something or bury myself under the blanket. *sighs*

Super tight schedule. Playing 3 games in a week and traveling far and wide are enough to make any player lost their best form. Unless you are Lionel Messi. Then you'd just score and score and score. And after you scored, you'll score some more.

Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are the only two Manchester United's players that left from the golden generation that I grew up with. I is sad. This is me wailing. If I had a time machine I'd very much have brought all of them together again, playing the perfect football that they played. I seriously have never seen anything like that again these days, when the passes between team mates so accurate, every time, it was like they had their own telepathy thing went on. Simply amazing.

AND I MISS WATCHING DAVID SILVA PLAY.

There. I said it.

Even though I still hold a grudge for that goal on the Euro final...okay let's not get there. It's a topic that must never be spoken ever again.

And I haven't decided story for NaNoWriMo! :o

Oh well...need to get my thinking cap on.

After Isya

Hey you, a nagging feeling in the corner of my heart, I know you.
You always come unexpectedly, suddenly, when I thought everything is going to be okay.
And you show up abruptly and whispering evil that the sun is not bright and things wont be right.
And you keep me worrying. And you keep me feeling blue.
Turn what once was a perfectly mundane day into a dull one.
Without even a particular reason.
You're like a nasty spell that was cast upon me by invisibility.
And escaping you is a wishful thinking.
I am not magical. I can't vanish you in a blink of an eye.
I need the help of time.
But time never wait for no one.
And here I am hoping, that you would kindly go away.

Night Armour

The rain hasn't stopped falling since morning. Now it's 10 pm and the air feels damp and cold. Just how I like it. I figured it might be the right time to continue reading my Sherlock Holmes novel but football players videos distracted me. I am pretty much football deprived. Blame the International Break. I miss watching David Silva in sky-blue jersey weasels his way among midfielders and defenders to give assists to any strikers in another sky-blue jersey. In short, I miss watching Manchester City play.

It feels somewhat sinful writing that sentence considering the fact I was (am?) a Manchester United fan for as long as I could remember. And then I found Man City's Youtube channel, and all hell broke loose.

Now it's 10 pm and I'm alone in my room with light turned off. The darkness, the cold air, me and laptop doing my own thing, it almost feels like a meditation, a recharge for a tired introvert.

For the lonesome heart.
For the worried mind.
For the angry perfectionist.
For the friendly shy Ravenclaw.

Let the night eat my troubles away.
I will be here hiding in its dark comfort.
Knitting stories, creating magic.
Drown in the majesty of my own little universe.

And today I still let my hair grow long.

Afternoon Strike

Nooo I don't wanna live in this present time.

Take me back to when The Azzuri still consists of Del Piero, Inzaghi, Totti, Vieri, Cannavaro, Nesta, Maldini, Panucci, Gattuso, Zambrotta, Peruzzi, Buffon, Toldo, Di Vaio, and Young Pirlo (not bearded Pirlo)*

T____T

* A natural symptom of missing awesome retiring players after watching old videos of 90s Azzuri singing and joking like dorks. No special treatment is needed. Will heal as the time goes by. But it may occur sporadically, without warning.
